Under pure sliding wear conditions, they can last up to 30 times longer.

Can CCO plates handle strong structural impacts?

Bimetallic CCO plates are engineered for high-abrasion applications. While the ductile carbon steel backing plate absorbs mild impacts and allows the plate to be bolted or welded, extreme heavy impacts can cause surface micro-cracking.
