View Product SpecificationsMexico's industrial sectors are undergoing a massive transformation, driven by the global trend of nearshoring and the integration of North American supply chains under the USMCA agreement. High-value manufacturing corridors in states like Nuevo León, Coahuila, Sonora, Zacatecas, and Querétaro demand unprecedented operational efficiencies. In heavy processing industries—such as metallic mining, dry-process cement clinkering, steel metallurgy, and marine cargo ports—wear-related downtime constitutes the single largest contributor to lost EBITDA.
In Zacatecas and Sonora, the world's most productive silver and copper open-pit mines process thousands of tons of abrasive ores daily. Raw materials containing high volumes of quartz and hard granitic silicates inflict extreme abrasive wear on excavator buckets, underground hopper walls, vibrating feeders, and processing chutes. Traditional manganese steel or standard structural plates fail within weeks, requiring frequent interventions.
By implementing hypereutectic Chromium Carbide Overlay (CCO) plates and bimetallic composite wear systems, Mexican mining and material handling operations can experience a 300% to 500% expansion in the operational lifecycle of material flow components, significantly boosting productivity while ensuring safety compliance.
As a global manufacturing hub, China’s industrial ecosystem leverages integrated value chains, continuous technological research, and massive scale economies to produce premium-grade metallurgical solutions. Tangshan Runxing Machinery Co., Ltd., located in the heart of China’s steel-producing capital in Hebei province, represents the pinnacle of this efficiency. By combining high-purity alloy feedstocks, automated open-arc weld-overlay systems, and custom CAD machining, we deliver exceptional performance-to-cost ratios directly to the Mexican market.
This synergy is characterized by:
Founded in 2010, Tangshan Runxing Machinery Co., Ltd., situated in Tangshan, Hebei Province, has grown into a leading manufacturer specializing in the R&D, fabrication, and on-site engineering of wear-resistant metallic solutions. Over the past decade, we have established a robust suite of products including Chromium Carbide Overlay (CCO) plates, custom wear liners, wear-resistant pipes and fittings, hardfacing flux-cored wires, and fully automated hardfacing welding machines.
Rooted in our core operating principles of “Integrity, Superior Quality, Innovation & Sustainable Development,” we leverage advanced surface hardfacing technologies and collaborate with top academic institutions like Tangshan University. Our strategic partnership with premium metallurgical players is demonstrated by our status as a qualified agent for Germany's renowned VAUTID brand for six consecutive years.
To streamline global trade, Hebei Yuwan International Trade Co., Ltd. manages our export operations. This division handles all logistics, customs compliance, and financial transactions, allowing our manufacturing center to focus entirely on quality assurance, dimensional accuracy, and timely production.
Understanding the microstructural components of wear materials is critical for selecting the right solution. The performance of Chromium Carbide Overlay (CCO) plates relies heavily on the volume fraction and spatial distribution of primary M7C3 chromium carbides.
Our CCO plates feature a chemical composition with 4.0-5.5% Carbon (C) and 25-35% Chromium (Cr). This composition results in a dense distribution of hexagonal M7C3 primary carbides, with microhardnesses reaching up to 1500 HV. This structure is embedded in a supportive eutectic matrix, providing resistance to severe sliding abrasion.
By utilizing automated open-arc weld overlay equipment, we achieve high deposition rates while maintaining low dilution from the base steel plate (such as ASTM A36 or Q235B). This ensures that the hardfaced overlay retains its chemistry and abrasion-resistant properties starting from the first millimeter of depth.
The fine, transverse hairline cracks visible on the surface of CCO plates are stress-relief cracks formed during the cooling process of overlay welding. These cracks relieve residual stress, permitting the plate to be rolled, bent, and formed into complex geometries without risk of overlay spalling.
