View SpecificationsOpen Arc (self-shielded) flux-cored welding wire operates without the need for external shielding gases like Carbon Dioxide ($CO_2$) or Argon ($Ar$) mixtures. The inner flux core contains precise combinations of carbonates, fluorides, and micro-alloying deoxidizers. When exposed to the electric arc, these compounds dissociate, generating local shielding gases and forming a fast-freezing slag layer that completely insulates the molten metal from atmospheric nitrogen and oxygen.
Our open-arc formulation creates deposits rich in primary **M7C3 chromium carbides**. Embedded in an austenitic or martensitic matrix, these hypereutectic microstructures yield exceptional abrasion resistance, making them ideal for heavy industrial environments.
| Alloy Classification | C (%) | Cr (%) | Other Elements | Typical Hardness |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fe-Cr-C Standard | 3.5 - 5.5 | 22 - 32 | Mn, Si, Fe bal. | 58 - 62 HRC |
| Complex Carbides | 4.0 - 6.0 | 20 - 30 | Nb, W, V, Mo | 60 - 65 HRC |
| Impact Hardfacing | 0.5 - 1.5 | 12 - 18 | Ni, Mn, Cr, Mo | 50 - 55 HRC |
*Note: Micro-alloying elements like Niobium (Nb) and Tungsten (W) form secondary carbides that significantly enhance thermal resistance up to 600°C.*
Combining industrial scale, strategic raw material access, and rigorous testing workflows
Located in Tangshan, Hebei Province—the steel capital of China. We benefit from direct, low-cost access to high-quality cold-rolled strip steel, which forms the outer sheath of our flux-cored wires. This geographic advantage drastically reduces baseline material costs, allowing us to pass significant savings to our global wholesale clients.
Equipped with state-of-the-art automatic wire drawings, powder-filling, and spooling lines. Every production run undergoes continuous chemical composition validation via optical emission spectrometers, combined with physical test welds to monitor slag release, spatter rates, and microstructure formation under real-world parameters.
To guarantee complete safety, transparency, and efficiency for international buyers, all export logistics, customs clearance, and global banking transactions are managed through our authorized trading partner, Hebei Yuwan International Trade Co., Ltd. This leaves our manufacturing plant 100% focused on product engineering and prompt delivery cycles.
We are a dedicated manufacturer specialized in the design, formulation, and field application of hardfacing wear-resistant materials. Over the last decade, we have established ourselves as an industry leader by focusing on structural durability.
Our deep engineering pedigree is supported by collaborative partnerships with academic entities like Tangshan University (Dean Yuan Shaoqiang, Vice Dean Li Jing, and Professor Yang Yuehui's metal forming team) to ensure our product formulations remain at the absolute vanguard of metallurgical science.
Our services stretch beyond wire manufacturing to cover comprehensive wear engineering. We design and construct:
As a testament to our quality, we have maintained a close partnership as a qualified agent for Germany's prestigious **VAUTID** brand since 2019, integrating European excellence with Chinese industrial efficiency.
