What is the standard chemical composition of a high-quality CCO plate?

A premium CCO plate usually features a carbon content between 3.5% and 5.5% and a chromium level between 25% and 35%. This ratio ensures the formation of primary M7C3 chromium carbides. Can chromium carbide overlay plates be bent or formed?

Yes, CCO plates can be cold-rolled to fit curved sections such as pipes, conveyor troughs, and chute linings. However, because of the hardness of the overlay, rolling should be executed with the wear surface inward (to compress the cracks) or outward, according to specific radii parameters. How do you cut and weld CCO plates during installation?
