Explore ProductHeavy industrial sectors such as mining, power generation, cement clinker production, and bulk cargo handling ports operate under continuous abrasive wear. The fundamental method to prolong equipment lifespan and reduce downtime is the deposition of a wear-resistant surface layer onto structural backing steels. Tangshan Runxing Machinery Co., Ltd. uses high-alloy bimetallic compositions to engineer this surface protection.
The metallurgical principle of chromium carbide overlay (CCO) wear plates relies on a hypereutectic microstructure. When depositing high-chromium, high-carbon alloys using our specialized flux-cored wires, primary M7C3 carbides precipitate first in the solidifying melt pool. These hexagonal carbides reach microhardness levels between 1200 and 1600 HV, forming a rigid protective matrix that deflects sharp abrasive particles.
Primary Carbides: M7C3 primary chromium carbides embedded inside a tough eutectic matrix.
Base Plate: Q235B, Q345B, or custom heat-resistant structural alloy steel backing.
Hardness Ranges: 58 to 62 HRC (tested per ASTM G65 procedures to verify volumetric loss).
Maximum Operating Temperatures: Standard plates sustain up to 350°C, and custom micro-alloyed options operate efficiently beyond 600°C.
The hardfacing industry is undergoing a transition from traditional manual electrodes and gas-shielded solid wires to automated, self-shielded flux-cored wires (SSF-CW) and complex alloy micro-structures.
Founded in 2010 in Tangshan, Hebei Province, Tangshan Runxing Machinery Co., Ltd. is a manufacturer specializing in R&D, production, and on-site engineering of hardfacing wear-resistant metal products. The factory covers mature metal surface hardfacing technology, supplying Chromium Carbide Overlay (CCO) plates, custom wear liners, wear-resistant pipe systems, hardfacing flux-cored wires, and automated welding machinery.
Recognizing the importance of consistent metallurgical supplies, Runxing has been a qualified agent for VAUTID in Germany for six consecutive years since 2019. We employ high-quality VAUTID brand welding consumables alongside our proprietary formulations to deliver durable solutions for demanding environments.
To streamline overseas operations, all export business is fully authorized and managed by Hebei Yuwan International Trade Co., Ltd. This partnership handles customs clearance, shipment logistics, and global financial transactions, allowing the Tangshan factory to focus on manufacturing, engineering innovation, and product consistency.
Equipment availability in cement plants depends on wear protection. Our CCO plates and wear-resistant liners protect hopper chutes, raw meal mills, vertical mill tires, and separator parts from constant raw mineral contact.
Providing mining operators with heavy impact and sliding wear protection. Our hardfacing systems protect dragline buckets, haul truck beds, crushing chambers, and conveyor discharge structures.
Operating under high temperatures and harsh conditions. We provide roll repair surfacing, sinter breaker grates, blast furnace bell coatings, and high-temp wear plate solutions.
Power generation plants require wear protection for fan blades, pulverizer coal mills, exhaust ducts, and ash pipelines. Our hardfacing wires offer long-term resistance to erosion.
For loading, unloading, and hydraulic transportation systems, bimetallic plates and wear pipes prevent abrasive slurry from wearing down system components.
For specific application scenarios, we construct specialized composite liners utilizing high-purity alumina ceramics sintered at high temperatures to withstand acid and friction.
Tangshan Runxing Machinery operates automated surfacing systems to ensure product uniformity. Our production floor uses multi-axis CNC cladding machinery that coordinates welding wire feed rates, travel speeds, oscillation patterns, and temperature control.
By controlling these parameters, we reduce dilution rates from the carbon steel backing. This ensures the first deposited layer exhibits a high concentration of primary chromium carbides.
Our facility maintains strict ISO 9001 compliance, performing hardness checks (Rockwell & Vickers), crack inspection, and wear testing via ASTM G65 protocols on production batches.
Heavy industrial buyers require high product quality and reliable supply chains. Runxing Machinery addresses these priorities through:
