The global welding manufacturing landscape has transitioned from simple mechanical repair to microstructural material design. Modern operations prioritize Chromium Carbide Overlays (CCO) which consist of primary M7C3 eutectic carbides suspended in a tough austenitic matrix, providing resistance against harsh particle sliding abrasion.
Integrating multi-electrode cladding systems has drastically reduced dilution rates with base metals. Controlling dilution ensures the deposit layer maintains its intended chemical formulation, hardness (up to 58-62 HRC), and structural integrity, preventing spalling and localized shear stress cracking under pressure.
Industrial enterprises now demand measurable returns on wear components. Strategic procurement officers calculate lifetime returns through Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) matrices, showing that high-grade bimetallic wear materials lower maintenance downtimes, thus yielding long-term savings.
Balancing reliability, custom configurations, and standardized metallurgical profiles.
Procuring hardfacing components requires consistent material quality. Enterprises need detailed mill test certificates showing chemical verification (Carbon and Chromium ratios) and hardness profiles across the wear surface. Runxing Machinery ensures every batch of Chromium Carbide Overlay meets the required chemical and physical properties.
No single wear plate layout fits all applications. Global buyers require custom cutting, forming, countersunk mounting holes, and structural framing. Delivering custom wear liners ready for installation directly reduces layout work and onsite welding requirements during scheduled shutdowns.
Runxing Machinery combines localized industrial strength, advanced automation, and efficient export handling.
Located in Tangshan, Hebei Province—a major center for metal casting and steel production—Tangshan Runxing Machinery Co., Ltd. was established in 2010. The factory utilizes customized CNC surfacing machines equipped with four weld heads that can operate in unison or independently. The welding processes are managed via 10.2-inch touchscreen interfaces, maintaining consistent bead geometry and controlled cooling cycles across large plates.
Our development processes are supported by partnerships with local research institutions, including a team led by Professor Yang Yuehui at Tangshan University, helping to align our metallurgy with international industry standards.
Runxing Machinery manages global shipments through its authorized partner, Hebei Yuwan International Trade Co., Ltd. This arrangement simplifies the purchasing process for international buyers by delegating export operations to a dedicated team.
Hebei Yuwan manages the complete export cycle, handling:
• Customs clearance compliance
• Maritime freight coordination
• Standardized trade documentation
• Global payment processing and credit verification
This logistics split allows the Tangshan manufacturing facility to focus on production quality and lead times, while clients receive professional export support.
A detailed look at our core systems, wear materials, and reclamation solutions.
We produce composite wear plates composed of a structural steel backing combined with a hardfaced weld overlay. The RX®wp 7600 series corresponds directly to DIN 8555 standards. The surface contains primary chromium carbides that provide resistance to abrasion under low-to-medium impact conditions.
Our self-shielded flux-cored wires are formulated for rebuilding and hardfacing components. These wires produce a high-chromium alloy matrix that provides protection against abrasive environments. Designed for smooth arc characteristics, low spatter, and slag removal, they are suitable for both field service and automated workshop setups.
Plasma Transferred Arc (PTA) technologies are used for precise, high-density alloy surfacing. PTTA cladding produces a minimal heat-affected zone in the base substrate, minimizing distortion and dilution. This process is suitable for high-precision components that require close dimensional tolerances.
We build automated cladding equipment to handle large-scale surfacing projects. These systems feature programmable PLC interfaces, adjustable oscillation patterns, and precise wire feeding mechanisms, allowing workshops to achieve repeatable overlay profiles on flat plates or cylindrical rollers.
We rebuild and resurface worn rollers and mill components from the steel and cement industries. Our processes apply hardfacing overlays to restore worn surfaces back to original dimensions, extending service life under compressive loads.
Our fabrication facility handles structural machining and custom engineering. We produce pre-cut, pre-formed wear liners, piping, and process equipment designed for immediate installation at the job site.
Runxing wear protection solutions are deployed across multiple heavy industries globally.
Equipment uptime is critical for cement production. We provide wear-resistant components for critical areas like raw meal mills, feed chutes, and cyclone separators to protect against raw material abrasion.

Q&T steel plates (like 400 or 500 HBW grades) rely on martensitic hardness achieved through heat treatment. While they offer good impact resistance, their abrasion resistance is lower than that of CCO plates. CCO plates feature a high concentration of primary chromium carbides (M7C3) with a microhardness of 1200–1600 HV, supported by a tough steel backing plate. Under severe sliding abrasion, CCO plates typically provide a longer service life than standard Q&T steels.
The fine transverse cracks on the surfaced layer of CCO plates are stress relief cracks. They occur naturally during the cooling process of high-alloy welding overlays due to differences in thermal expansion between the overlay and the backing plate. These cracks are confined to the hardfaced overlay layer and do not penetrate the structural steel backing, allowing the plate to be cut, bent, and welded without structural failure.
Yes. Self-shielded flux-cored wires are formulated with core materials that generate their own shielding environment within the welding arc. This eliminates the need for external shielding gas cylinders, making them suitable for outdoor field repairs, wind-exposed construction sites, and remote mining operations.
Hebei Yuwan International Trade Co., Ltd. serves as the authorized export representative for Runxing Machinery. This partnership handles all export customs clearance, shipping arrangements, payment processing, and export compliance. This allows our manufacturing facility to focus entirely on production quality, while buyers receive professional support for international transaction logistics.
Yes, worn rollers from coal and vertical raw mills can be rebuilt repeatedly, provided the underlying core material remains sound. The process involves inspecting the component for cracks, applying a buffer layer if needed, and depositing a hardfacing overlay to restore the profile, reducing the need for complete roller replacement.
